Times just keep on changing
and I just wonder why?

No one stops to listen
to the children when they cry.

Crime is getting so much
worse with each passing year.

I wonder if we’ll ever live
without this kind of fear.

Children killing children is
the way of the world today.

Together we can change
it no matter what they say

I wonder if we’re really
as unfeeling as we seem.

Lets all work together
to fulfill that famous dream.

I wonder can we change
if we start with me and you.

Reach out your hand and
you’ll find I'm reaching out too.

This is a sad read because it is so true.. it is written with a good flow .. you know it is true..seems if we all worked together we could change so much..Saddest part of this is 'no one seems to listen to the children when they cry',, very nice and thought provoking poem.
