Unnamed Poem

A short poem that came out of reflection

Little lies, make me cry,

Do you know you broke my heart in two?

Can you hear my soul screaming?

Shattering as its breaking, 

A sad song it is making,

Lyrics we have co-written

In blood with each prick of our fingers,

Each stab to our hearts…

Pain, forgiven but not forgotten.

Every lie is a betrayal Deborah but we're all only human and as the saying goes.."to err is human..to forgive,divine". Perhaps forgetting isn't part of the deal.
