Droplets

Droplets

A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

the pain will never catch me

"
the fabric sways as the wind blows by
snapping me out of my shuddering sobs
the final droplets falling to the floor
and then the wave of idiocy drops
I shouldn't be wasting my time
you're not worth a single tear from my eye
the world keeps spinning, against the rubble
so I can keep going, no matter the trouble
as long as I stay on my feet
and keep marching to the beat
the pain will never catch me

Ah, what a powerful read,
my fav lines and most inspiring of all

"as long as I stay on my feet
and keep marching to the beat
the pain will never catch me"

Always keep your head up, no matter what!
