Babbling

the door slams shut

you left me here, babbling "What?"

it takes just a moment, for me to understand

it's over, no more happy wonderland

no more us writing each others name in the sand

the piano starts to play, calm and sweet, from G to A

a goodbye song- I almost start to sway

you know this isn't the end

because since you hurt me, I need revenge.

the song drills on, a comforting sound

before I remember what the song is about

you used to play it, before we were lovers

whenever your heart is broken;

this was the sign you were going to use your revenge token

the time is now, the game is clear

either you win or you disappear
