Confusion

Just imagine a little sign,

up over my head,

three little question marks

painted on in red.

I know your words are meant to hurt

but I don't quite understand.

I asked a friend

they can't pretend

they know what your words mean

Alright, it's fine, I won't complain

But still, I'll ask in vain

that if you do this again some day

for you to write something someone can comprehend

It's hard to comprehend sometimes, why someone would choose words that are meant to hurt or belittle.
But I've learned that quite often the problem is with them, not you.
