Early Light

Early Light

A Poem by DeepStruggle

A new morning sneaks

On the ghosts of night

As they rise slowly

to fall again

While drifting echoes

Numb the early light

There's still pain

Held somewhere inside

There's still me

Caught between

Pain and lies

A creepy loneliness

I saw you in my dreams

A deadly loneliness

I couldn't help but scream

A face for nothingness

I woke up, my eyes were wide open

A story of awfulness

But deep within I was asleep

A voice for madness

I carry you in me

A silent sadness

I cry and plead

Escape I seek

I crawl to my bed and weep

Just free me

Just let me be

I am the mess you left behind

Thrown deep in chaos

I became blind

I am the mess you left behind

Peace I cannot find

In the world of submankind

I am the mess you left behind
