A Reason

A Reason

A Story by Dee

Give me a reason I should trust you
Give me a reason for your existence
Give me a reason why
As a kid you let innocence die
Give me a reason
Not the same generic s**t
That everything happens for a reason

Give me a reason for hope
Give me a reason why
Because of your death
I'll have a better life
Give me a reason for your silence
But I suppose I'll never hear it
I've been raped once again
Go f**k yourself
I'm done with imagination

Give me a reason to use my mind
Even in your non existence
I still see beauty in life
Give me something logical
No prosperity overflowing
I'm just not interested
I'm only craving what's real

Tell me I'm normal
Tell me I don't have to feel this much longer
How can I believe you're all knowing
When you've knowingly allowed pain
Even thousands of years ahead of the game
It's madness. It's cruel
I wish I could believe in you
Have a reason to trust again
But I've given up
Tell me what's your plan?
Forget it I'll continue
Finding out exactly who I am.
