True Friendship

True Friendship

A Poem by Deidara

I've never met you
but that doesn't matter
our friendship still grew
our hearts, they did scatter
feelings that once were dormant
now arise anew, afresh
my heart now turns informant
as life courses through my flesh
I spread my wings without a care
fly higher than ever, propelled by your presence
soaring higher than Icarus ever did dare
all for the sake of acquiring this pleasance
Heart I say, betray me not
don't ruin this for us
turn this love into rot
so all that's left is trust
I won't let these emotions hold me under
These petty ties I shall now sunder
even should the earth be torn asunder
our friendship shall never fall under

Pretty late review since I've seen this a day ago or two...so not late? Eh, whatever. Anyhow, it's a nice poem that anybody can easily relate to. Internet love...yeah. I think that's what you're trying to convey here, especially since you've stated you've never met her and that you mentioned love. It's sweet, really. How you put your feelings into literature, poetry to be more specific. Your feelings are very strong and vivid in this poem and I find it nice. Great job, as always.
