Regret

Regret

A Poem by Deidara

Can you see the tear as it falls
can you hear the past as it calls
Would you try to turn back time?
Fix the wrongs erase the crime
Desperately I try to find
the words to empty out my mind
to lay my conscious down to rest
to ease this aching in my chest
Where does the truth go when you lie?
Does it grow wings and start to fly?
Does it grow legs and try to hide?
Or does it hang on for the ride?
No matter now its far too late
I've made my bed this is my fate
Doomed to suffer with regret
Words cannot erase this debt
