Splatter

Splatter

A Poem by Absentee Reality Check
"

a little snippet of horror

"

Drip,Drip, Drip
the smile widens
drip, drip, drip
i'm drawing pictures mommy aren't you proud
drip drip drip
follow each drop to the ground
drip...drip...drip
the downpour slows
drip...drip...drip
down and down and down it flows
drip...drip
i finish my master peice
drip...drip
existing only in their last release
drip..drip
blood is so hard to get out of clothes
drip...
so it's just as well no one knows
where i am
and then there was silence

Blood is ever so hard to get out of clothes isnt it?
I loved that line, made me smile slightly.
Well done!

gorgeous work- i agree with your other review though, perhaps just a little too much emphasis on the word "drip"... maybe if there was a little bit more variation... a different word, a range... to show it growing and swelling or slowing and stopping.
All the same, i love your imagery and idea :)
"i'm drawing pictures mommy aren't you proud"... wow... just wow.

Good and twisted, but I felt there were too many drips.
