Cyber Life

Cyber Life

A Poem by Absentee Reality Check
"

a set of lyrics/poem written thinking about the contrast between real life and online life and the progression of a relationship crossing both.

"

we carpooled to crazy

wearing our morals on our sleeves

it seemed so amazing

we gambled our shirts  and our beliefs

and we lost it all

restart and uninstall

our life

erase the virus of lies

say our goodbyes

take to the skies

and stall

grab onto the cloudy silver lining

shooting star a shining

and fall

our memories are hazy

should never have smoked all that weed

it seemed so amazing

smash head into keyboard to proceed

so,  we lost it all

restart and uninstall

our life

erase the virus of lies

open both eyes

remove your disguise

surprise

and read the writing on the wall

decipher the scrawl

misplace your mind

curtain call…
