Deep shores

Deep shores

A Poem by Elizabeth Gonzalez
"

A short poem about falling in love and letting go.

"

Two deep pools of blue stare back at me.

Amusement dancing within the depth of them,

and the longer our gaze remained locked the more I felt as if I was in an ocean.

His ocean and my problems, memories, and everything that once seemed important is now peacefully drifting away….

And I am slowly

but willingly drowning within his shores.

I really like the metaphor and the concept of the poem. However, you should break your poem into lines and stanzas so that it is more readable and maybe lowering the font number. I really like the comparison of blue eyes with ocean to forgetting everything when you're with the person, nice connection. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
