Soiled Hands

Soiled Hands

A Poem by Raena
"

About the flaws in our lives and how much regret takes its place

"

We are born innocent
and thus hope to remain as such

but the flaws set in and we wish to repent
but when they are gone we suffer so much

The flaws made us
and within the creation of a new life came destruction
so now we are hurt and we cause a fuss
unlocked from its tomb are the emotions
- you locked them away -

And so up from the grave
we return in shame
those souls so brave

playing life's game
