The Morbid Night

The Morbid Night

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

Something I wrote in 2006 on a dark poetry binge

"
I find within me untold might
While in the ecstasy of flight
Within the night... the morbid night
Where darkest demons set their sights
On foul and inhumane delights

I'm willing to pay any price
No limits to my sacrifice
To serve the night... the morbid night
Where hypocrites fall to vices
As the call of sin entices

I do not fear the day I'll die
For I've embraced the evil eye
That rules the night... the morbid night
Where when I'm gone I'll find my prize
Before the throne where evil lies
