Pilgrim (January)

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

Thoughts on my inner-journey in 2024 so far

"
Not quite halfway back
To halfway back
I'm closer to Jimbo
But still akimbo
Emotionally...
But I don't trust me
Not to let the dream die
In the wink of an eye
Not quite halfway back
To halfway back

"Not quite halfway back
To halfway back"

What a heavy and thoughtful line. That feeling of not knowing whether you should turn back or continue because each journey seems difficult. Bravo :))
