Perfect (Complications and All)
A Poem by Desert Knave
Nothin' but thinkin' out loud
I called her Little Miss Perfect... But she wasn't at all No, she was quite Far from small And not actually a Miss As I recall But she was perfect enough For me to fall Complications and all

What a touching and beautifully honest poem! Your words capture the essence of love and the imperfect perfection we find in those who mean the most to us. The playful irony in calling her "Little Miss Perfect" despite her not fitting the literal description highlights the way love sees beyond the surface. The closing lines, where you acknowledge falling for her "complications and all," resonate deeply with the truth that love embraces the whole person, imperfections included. Your poem is a wonderful reminder of the beauty in our unique connections with others.
