I'm A One-Trips Pony

I'm A One-Trips Pony

A Poem by Desert Knave
"

(Got no other tricks)

"
Another trip over shadows
One more hard crash onto the bricks
I hurt my hands, my hips, my knees
Got some bruises and two deep nicks
Another trip over shadows
This pony knows no other tricks

Lately it seems age has most of my body hurting...I feel like a one-trip pony....
too old to be saddled, yet too spry not to kick a little of rubbed the wrong way.
Just don't pull my mane.
