because of you, I found my worth

The girl you used to love is no longer alive 

I killed her to make room for the person I have become

and with death comes a new beginning

This reads like you wrote it to encourage yourself. It’s interesting. I do think it would be more powerful if it were shorter, trimmed a bit. I really liked the line, “ You choked me out of my goddamn mind”, a nice cut there. Thanks for sharing
