Puzzling places, Indecent minds

Puzzling places, Indecent minds

A Poem by Moonflower

We walk in, smiles adjusted

Placidly

on our faces

Hiding

our lonely eyes,

feasting hearts

No one

speaks

We chatter

In blindness, security

we only think that

we're holding on

a

moment

longer

As we drown our minds

timidly over-looking

S

I

L

E

N

C

E

and repose

We smooth our mask

Perfect

In..place...

And decide

there

isn't any such

redemption

I like the how you did silence, it made me shiver. Great poem, beautiful!! As always, it's an amazing piece.

I like this! I love how you wrote "silence" like that, it really emphasizes the word and makes you feel the long drawn out silence. Good job!

I liked it. Again your style has a very easy flow to it & it always reads to mean in patterns and paces. "is no such" is what I would've used for the last line.

"As we drown our minds
timidly over-looking"

I like this line. It gave me a lost like feeling

Again, thanks for sharing.

i think i would write 'there isn't' in the same line. but it's an excellent write :)

your ending is giving the reader options , 'and decide' 'there' and 'redemption' in the last stanza can hold their own weight individually - or one could read this even without last stanza

excellent writing from you again

The ending fits well, I believe! This caught me from the first line.

And THIS:

"No one
speaks

We chatter"

Is among words. Beautiful! Thanks!
