Infiltration

Infiltration

A Poem by Moonflower
"

A story, in so many words

"

I wanted

to kill you

to feel your fragility beneath

my fingertips

Pressing,

  burning into

 your tenderness

As broken shingles and

dirt stained glasses

twinkle in the backdrop

of your eyes

Swirling tides

  of innocence

beating beneath lashes

peering out, unspoken

I felt your breath

like fading

waves, sing.ing curls

  of lavender fumes

  How you

shivered in your

undergarments, bones peeking out

that thin, loose fabric fraying

    at the edges, falling around

your body (your body) in variegated tones

The blood was pulsing there, beneath

your lips

A soothing lullaby in desperation,

  I swept your locks into

balled fists, cringing

at their silkiness, an

    unrelenting softness

The shudders closed, a gasp of wind

a howl breaking loose, in the distance

A quiet moon

basking in it's own superfluous glory

She cried no tears for the sweet hearts, nor the

screaming as it echoed

  through the hallway

of our souls

Silence

 I watched your eyes

dancing with trepidation

Molding into

 scenes and fragments

They held me,

  a speculation of the senses

Gold flecks gave way to

 their hopefulness (a glimpse)

Brimming with touch.tone

sincerity

(Oh!) it shook my soul, it buried me in ashes

I took your wrist,

 fleeting grasp of dense

releases, pumping life

  through tattered quivering

artery

pushing at barriers of

self degradation

And I kissed the paleness,

 let my lips brush against

such feather light flesh, an aroma of fear (longing),

a mixture of beading salt, an intoxication

of surrender (no, don't surrender)

Then... I saw you smile,

lips (perfect) turned up into some twisted

love, a throbbing

spectacle of beauty  (sin)

Yes, I wanted

to kill you, had to

feel

your spirit breathing, beating

into mine (mine)

As to intertwine

  separate beings

that bleed together, I could

find.infinity

in your curves, explore the

     intimacy of your expressions

Implore to your emptied

 resolutions

Because you want.ed

this pain

You called me into the darkness,

fed me your wounds, regurgitated your

inflections

And so,

You poured into Me

with a gripping

stare, instinct barricading

the senses

Piercing, blinding...

We share our melancholy wine

Good to be able to read your poetry. The poem is amazing. Sometime when we fall in the heat of passion. Can lose control. Pleasure and pain can get twisted. A very good ending to the poem. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
