I just have to say. THESE ARE LYRIC! not a poem. LYRICS that is why there is repetitiveness. This is a poem for child abuse. No this did not actually happen to me. It is for the families face abuse.

Daddy has the gun again

For a daddy to give his baby girl,
A kiss on the forehead, piggyback rides.
When still this nightmare end?

to protect me from my father.

To have a father that truly loves me.
