A Monster With A Failing Heart

I was going through a horrible time. Depression, loneliness. The guy I was with kept calling me names. I felt like I was nothing in the world. I felt like my father was talking to me again. Enjoy

I'm human,
I'm a girl,
I have a heart that is failing.
I have hands that want to hold another's.
I have flesh that keep my bones intact.
Yes I am human.
I have eyes that are receptors,
to my brain so I can see all the misery.
I have a brain that remembers all the pain you put me through.
I am human.
Just to remind you.
I have a heart that is failing thanks to you.
And you, and you, 12 times repeated to all the pain,
You people have put me through.
I am human.
Thanks to you..the one that started it.
My father.
I am human.
I am a girl.
I have a heart that is failing.
I'm not a monster.
I am not to exploit.
I'm not to probe,
I'm not to experiment with!
My father, my past,
I AM HUMAN,
