Angel face smiled at me
came into my dreams
under the tides of tragedy
the smiled gave me warmth. 

Farewell, silence fell
upon the mother above thy grave
and those morning the day. 

Desired elsewhere
to show us the shortness of our lives
tears fell upon them
tears of love and tears of fear
lay my dreams to die with you
and bring upon me my aching heart

do angels leave this earth? 

Unable to mend the emptiness left behind
