My Helsinki

My Helsinki

A Poem by Destiny S.

This city, my Helsinki,
in her winter gown she smiles,
crooked teeth and bricks and ice,
toes cold and dirty.

I loved this! It's spectacular how you portray so much with so few words. For me this seemed to portray a cold beauty. Very well done. Helsinki is actually one of those cities that I have always wanted to visit. It seems like a beautiful place... albeit cold. :)

Thank you! If you wanted to go to Helsinki, I'd suggest that you pay a visit during summertime ;)
