Pariah

One of my old ones, just found it again and thought I'd share.

Here I stand,
An outcast of the world.
My head in my hands,
Oblivious to the cold.

There you are,
A part of the world where i want to be.
So close but yet so far,
Maybe someday you will notice me.

Everyday you pass me by.
And you brush the cold away.
My heart stops as i catch your eye,
And you continue on your way.

Here I stand, watching over you,
There you are, unaware of me.
I take one last glimpse of you, before i fade away,
The pariah I am, that you'll never see.
