Feeding Darkness

An observation on some of the patients I work with. Sometimes, people can be trapped to thinking, darkness is good for them since they are used to it... which should not be.

Our minds can fool us to believing we are not good enough for this life... 
but our consciousness will always win over that trap and strife. 
It's an everyday battle, not all survive... 
see how the 'jumpers' suppress their lives.

And it's fatal to get out of that comfort zone - 

the darkness that once crippled our knees. 

Didn't come to believing it's possible to hone -
strength and power by feeding on mischief.

But, study believed darkness is addicting...
Some tend to stay in the shadows for peace.
I guess their mindset hasn't gone for searching-
The wisdom in years of tears and bliss.

However, there is no need to be blessed to be deserving,
We don't owe anyone anything...
But to ourselves - Yes! We should persevere,
To live an amazing story for generations to hear!
