Love

I was inspired by his natal day coming up. I felt overwhelmed by his love. This is my first freestyle poem.

In the shortness of life, there is one joy -
To live in the purpose, of loving another.
In whatever form, in all such ways,
The raging truth it brings...
Color the sketches of our lives.
And though time be our foe,
I couldn't care less -
For as long as you are here,
Nothing detests.
And the pictures... In its stillness, harness -
A glance of the memories..
Encountered with Greatness.
For now ours is the conclusion -
How our scars are vindicated.
That we are brought to this moment.
And though nothing is certain -
Our choices will always prevail.
That in this world where all seem fleeting -
Love will still make it worth living.
