Human Nature

Human Nature

A Poem by Devinked7115

The glorious suit everyone wears
Masks the strife one’s heart bears.
Such eyes cannot lie,
No mouth can hide,
The truth that beckons,
In the breaking day.

The more they conceal it,
The more it is made known.
A heart of stone,
Is our human nature.
But this is not all we should be.
