LOST IN CURVES

Out of my boxed mind

You drew me in

A follower of serpentine curves

Right angles banned

In this faeryland

Such freedom in repression

Locked in buildings

For people like me

To admire, desire

And slide down banisters

Into a spiraling dance.

I drop to my knees

Praise your Majesty

But how blasphemous

I would seem

To your Catholic eyes

As I follow the curves

In my architect's mind.

Your love and admiration for Gaudi really comes through in this poem. And your poem echoes the curves and spirals you speak of in the language. Its like im in one of the buildings you speak of. A great poem thanks for sharing.
