LEVELLER

In this game stale mate fails

Changing tactics lost last chance

Rules discarded King dethroned

Take your liberties, lead the dance.

New horizons tower above him

Moving mountains when he walks

Bloody wars are lost in history

Tongues untied when he talks.

Peace forged in abandoned foundries

Love is found in swelling herds

The pie carved up in equal portions

Famine becomes an extinct word

Relight fires in burnt out hearts

Hope is nourished in his hands

Future seen through refreshed visions

Of dependants on this land.

I write , mainly poetry, about anything and everything. I have written song lyrics and seem to be addicted to rhyming. I hate writing blurbs for blogs as I never know what to say... I often confuse.. more..
