In the depot of Death
I took my final breath.
I lie, cold as linoleum
as you open my heart
such surgery an art
to be displayed in your gallery
of lost souls and body parts.

Author's Note

You either love or hate Gunter Von Hagens controversial exhibits of human bodies. As an artist and an massage therapist (interested in anatomy), I find them fascinating. I put 2 poems up in the order i wrote them. I couldn't decide which one I liked the best or what category I should put them in . To some people they would see this as horror,some art, some education. Comments welcome.

Really interesting, I liked both! I love the tautness of the rhyme scheme. Both flowed brilliantly. The lines were lyrical, and inventive, and both poems had brilliant energy and pace. And I just love your choice of subject matter- so original and clever!
Definately refreshing to see something full of such originality :p
