How the mind can drift off then be pulled back down to earth by an empty stomach.

"


My mind was found levitating
Full of breeding parasites
Layered thoughts exfoliating
Like caccoons under moonlight.

Butterflies know that aviation
Keeps the birds and bees in flight
But I think that gravitation
stops them floating off at night.

Creating genetic mutations
Will it cure or will it kill?
Find new worlds for habitation
Looking for a miracle.

Mind full of observations
Body began bugging me
Rumbling thoughts of starvation
Made my mind come back to me.
