Beguiled

Beguiled

A Poem by DiaryKay

BeGUILED

Beguiled
To believe a woman's word
Certainly falls in unfavorable odds
still be still
my beating heart
thy beat depict hate
should i blame fate or faith
I trusted destiny and had belief

Betrayed
Keep your circles small
Surely few friends begat fewer enemies
The wrath of foes makes you grow
nonetheless a jealous friend is a disease

BeGuided
Smiles are given not taken
Love is practiced not preached
Friends are ingredients of life, too much makes an unhealthy living
Forgive the lies and give little benefit of doubt
No one is perfect but we can choose to be our best
