Our nation's crest.

Our nation's crest.

A Poem by D. L. Vaccaro
"

Sometimes you say more, by saying less.

"
Jim Morrison wrote, "The snake is long, Seven miles, Ride the snake, He's old, And his skin is cold, The west is the best, The west is the best, Get here and we'll do the rest."

I wrote, "Fried Turkey decadence, our nation's crest."

I like Jim Morrison. Sometime when you see too much. Can scare yourself. I agree with the logic of the West. I lived at Fort Ord, Ca. for three years. I roamed and drank. Made friends with the surfers and the insane. They taught me real vision. This is real good poetry. Made a old man go back in time. Good ending to a outstanding poem.
