Pretentious

Pretentious

A Poem by Diella Notsu Eret

The lights are dimmed
The music pulses
Similar to the blood in my brain
The roses lay
Strewn across the room
Like discarded trash
I want to dissipate
But the atmosphere is too thick
And I gained 2 pounds last week
