Someone Like You

written in 2010

Dreams always seem to die.
They grow up so quickly.
Then, the heart that the dream was held in
slowly loses hope.
The dream is released
into the cold world.
The heart begins to collapse.
The dream fades into the wind.
It's lost.
Then, someone like you finds it.
You take the dream
and you keep it warm in your heart.
You try to give it back to
the dreamer.
The dreamer denies it.
A dream like that
belongs to someone
who can live it.
Someone like you.

This is very good I think we all have our dreams like mine is to be a poet and I think the great ones are the ones who really try to pursue those dreams. Any ways it is a great poem keep writing some more.
