Let Go

Let Go

A Poem by Emma DeBoer
"

written in 2010

"
At last, this long life
has brought us together.
The world
only had to
come to a closing
for our eyes to meet.
So here we lay,
our eyes gaze upon one another.
Earth is collapsing
beneath us.
All we can do is
close our eyes
and lay together.
So take my hand.
Close your eyes.
& Let go.
