More experience, less ego

I’ve been around
Seen a few different towns
Downed a couple of brown bottles
And sang my heart out til it wilted
A 5th house sun promises me surprise in love
I’ve had interesting encounters
Several walks to remember
And the glory lies in not being a house wife
Or quiet as a mouse
To have flexibility that extends beyond my spleen
I’m talking about being able to spread my wings
So don’t come into my life too cocky
Thinking that you’ve surely got me
Because chances are, you’ll be denied then
My guides they’ll back me
And redirect me towards a better option
I have merged with seas of people
With different pigments and traditions
I have loved the whole world within a rainbow
So instead, show me the colors I’ve yet to explore
Walk with purpose when you walk through that door
Come on now darling, I’m eager for more
