In a bookstore

You go west

And I'll go east

And in an hour

We will meet again

At a coffee table

And share our findings

Except 

You give me what you've picked

And you can read my picks 

And we go silent for an hour

As we seek to devour each others worlds

And once the timer goes off

We share what we've learned

And I share my observations with you

Like how many times you licked you hand before turning the pages

And how many times you folded page corners in attempt to go back to it later 

This book store is a labyrinth that leads us deeper into one other
