Part of the Problem

Part of the Problem

A Poem by Dina

You pick the hottest guy you could find

And you’re so happy, he’s the light of your life

And you show him off to the lonely people

But grow paranoid once they start to Peacock

Because now everyone wants a taste of your man

And the paranoia creeps in, though you hide it due to shame

And if he’s wild, and gives in to temptation

Then your anger goes straight to the stranger

Who stands in a position similar to you

She is clueless, while wanting love too

And the correction would be best done on the one you keep close

Because a stranger only reflects the start of the problem

So when they love is faulty

And the foundation is dense

It’s best to confront the pink elephant

But do it right, don’t project

Because blatant disrespect

Comes with the heftiest, and I mean heftiest, of debts
