A Matter So Very Small

A Matter So Very Small

A Poem by Dindella

I’ve given the pieces away for a matter so small.
A matter so very, very small
It cripples me to know I had given it my all.
And I’ll be damned: look at where it got me.
Three gulps of water and six feet underneath.
