Game Show- Life Under Review

               Let’s Play The Game

  • Dance in the rain
  • Kiss under the moon
  • Say “Hello” over it all

All of the beauty in the world points up.

        Now left.

               Too far.

                              Just about…

Good. Right there.

Please do bite the hand that feeds you,

We’re all in the mood for a little kiss.

               Maybe even a little tell.

As a general rule, I'm not big on the whole concrete poetry/format messing-about thing, because it's usually done just for the hell of it and with no rhyme of reason. Here, it is serves a purpose, and the poem is better for it. This is whimsical, but in the wry and witty sense as opposed to being just silly. This is an impresive piece, a damn fine thing in a small package.
