Lullaby Of Silence

Lullaby Of Silence

A Poem by Brandon Taylor-Black
"

Sing me the Lullaby of Silence

"

Take me in thy cold embrace
Oh callous Death
Free me from this tainted existence
With a whisper
A gentle kiss
Sing me the lullaby
Of Silence

Dear Draven,

Wonderful. This is a tight, powerful piece. It is spare with every word punching out your message. There is no waste. And the emotion created is deep and chilling. While callous, Death can sweep all cares away. Very nice job.

Kindest regards,

Rick

In such shortness it sums up everything. Life and Death is a tricky subject to write on. I love this write. I must say I have felt like this plenty of times.

Great Write!!
