Dancing with Words

Dancing with Words

A Poem by Blackbird95

Ghosts in golden silk.
Clouds as white as milk.
Energy reflecting mirrors,
And pearls from a pond.
Fire diamonds from outer space
A materialistic bond.
Your voice inside your head,
As you read these sticky words,
Is it crying out sounds of war?
Or singing like small birds?
A state of mind
Could be so kind,
If words were not so strong.
Sticks and stones may break
Our bones.
But words can start wars.
Words can be, life or death.
Or the beginning of romances.
Words can change the world,
In fiery literature dances.
