Goes the Synapse

It fires, bringing forth a memory of olden times.

Zip
Zap
A faint lapse

Slowly though, it dies away.

Zip
Zap
It's reattached

Though medicine may find new ways.

Easy math

A computer in the mind?

Zip
Zap
Another gasp

Saving lives, saving times.

Zip
Zap
It made itself

A Man? God, or Machine?
