A Tribute to Our Older Friends

A Tribute to Our Older Friends

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

We have older writers
All are unique
Some very special
Some sort of neat

They all have a passion
Some stuck in their ways
"Poetry MUST rhyme!"
Like the good old days

A writer, though
Shall never get old
Just riper with age
Or so I am told

So, our aged writers, ALL of you
I hope you think I did okay
This poem's for you

This little tribute is just to remind
The younger writers to be considerate and kind
But it is dual purpose
And also used
To let you oldies but goodies know
That we still love you

About
Hello everyone I am Annabelle Lee. I am FINALLY, after June 12, the ripe old age of fifteen. I'm a poet. I want to write novels, as well, but those do not belong on this site in hopes that someday .. more..
