I'm not weak

I'm not weak

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

Constantly in the shadow of someone I wil never beat,
I am forgetful, and tiny, and trip over my feet
She makes mistakes too
If only they knew
But they can't see past her boyfriend, her job
They look at her beaming, she's just like her mom
I am not a good at baskets, I can't play volleyball
But man, she's amazing, athletic, and tall
I really try, to be like her
But I guess that plan will never work
Track medals and grades just aren't enough
But I'm not very good at her kind of stuff
Maybe I'm whining,
But they wont see me crying
And I wash away the last tear streak
Because unlike her, I'm not weak

About
Hello everyone I am Annabelle Lee. I am FINALLY, after June 12, the ripe old age of fifteen. I'm a poet. I want to write novels, as well, but those do not belong on this site in hopes that someday .. more..
