Nostalgia

A Poem by Annabelle Lee

Annabelle Lee is getting old
It weren't more than six years ago
I was in third grade and moving out here
And now things have gotten all weird
My sister's about to graduate eighth grade
And my oldest little bro went to his first dance today
The littlest two will play sports next year
Can't help but wonder how we got here
Where'd the time go? What do I do?
With the brains in my head and the feet in my shoes?

Pleasure writing for ya, grrrrllll!
Just wait till you turn 30. You'll really wonder where the time went then.

Oh no!
Not bad. Nice allusion to the Poe poem, but I don't think the last line quite fits with the rest. Other than that, good work.
