At This Point In Time

At This Point In Time

A Poem by Donna Lorenz
"

While waiting for Cataract surgery

"

This Point In Time .

.

I don’t know why I love it

But have enjoyed it oh so much

Just to be here by myself

To enjoy the things I trust.

.

I am very careful driving

To the store or whereabouts,

Like a big ole ‘going to get yea’

Is what I fear, no doubt!

.

The world is a bright and friendly place

But my cataracts make it seem dim.

Be glad when the surgeon takes them off,

Then my world will expand again.

.

I hear tales of the beautiful colors

Will show the world a bright new place

Can’t wait to see the difference

Will it show upon my face?

This is done really well done, thank you for sharing, I know where you are coming from. It's the best thing I've done, last year had both eyes done. No pain like they said, Everything is Beautiful like the song says.

I bet it will show... those things we take for granite... I am willing to bet you won't anymore.
