remember me

black and blue beaten and torn,

wounds covered and no one sees,

and still you see my wounds,

angry lost and forgotten,

and yet you remember me,

mouth sewed shut,

and you  still hear my words,

each day i fade,

but to you i strengthen,

my dark side my light side,

you know both,

even i forget who i am,

but you remind me,

you see me and even my scars,

that make me me,

and when i am forever lost, 

you will remember me
